I'm Beck Orion—a student from sunny California with a deep love for technology, politics, and all things creative. But beyond the screen, I'm someone who finds meaning in the small, quiet moments: late-night writing sessions with ambient music, flipping through old poetry books, or just sitting with a dog at my feet and a world of thoughts in my head. I'm a thinker, a tinkerer, and a firm believer that curiosity—whether it's in code, culture, or connection—is one of the best traits you can have.

Background

I've spent years building strong technical skills in Python, web development, and Mac systems, but just as much of my energy goes into understanding people and the systems we build. I'm especially drawn to the intersection of tech and law, and plan to pursue Political Science and possibly Computer Science in college. Outside the classroom, I've explored the world through travel, documenting my thoughts through satirical stories and reflective poems. I love observing how rules, patterns, and power structures shape our world—then breaking them down to ask “why?”

I'm currently refining this site as a kind of digital journal-meets-playground. I'm writing a collection of satirical stories that poke at modern life with a mix of humor and honesty. I'm also curating playlists that reflect different emotional textures—liminal moments, cinematic highs, quiet introspection. These creative projects help me better understand myself, my voice, and the kinds of stories I want to tell.
