Inspired by the CNN 5 Things podcast, this tool uses a news API and web scraping to gather top stories, then reads them aloud like a podcast—complete with music and multiple hosts, each with unique personalities.

Language Interpreter Skill Test

Inspired by watching real life interpreters (like in the United Nations) work, I wanted to make a system that could test my hand at it.

Using OpenAI's ChatGPT, audio generation, and Whisper (transcription) API endpoints, I built a fully automated system that generates a script, reads it in another language, prompts you to quickly interpret it in English, and evaluates your translation—highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
